Magnesium-25 (mg-25) is an isotope of the element magnesium. It has 25 protons and 25 neutrons in its nucleus, and it has a natural abundance of 0.24 percent in nature. It is an essential element in living organisms, and it forms part of the important biological polyphosphates dNA, RNA, and ATP, as well as the green pigment chlorophyll, found in all plants, algae, and cyanobacteria.

Magnesia is a silvery metallic element that is the second lightest of the alkaline-earth metals, and it belongs to group 2 in the periodic table (alkaline earth metals). Magnesium is a very reactive metal, and it reacts readily with sulphur, nitrogen, and the halogens (Grignard reagent).

In star formation models, the evolution of the heavy isotope 26Mg depends on the choice of the stellar model and the rotation velocity of the star. The power-law dependence of the metallicity leads to an enhancement of the ratio 26Mg/Mg in massive stars with the highest rotation velocities. However, the ratio in the lower mass end of the IMF shows a behaviour that is not consistent with the power-law, suggesting that the SFRD/IMF model is not the best one to describe the evolution of heavy isotopes.

Ubrogepant, an oral calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor antagonist, is effective in the acute treatment of migraine headaches. In this randomized clinical trial, rates of migraine-associated pain relief at 2 hours were significantly greater for participants treated with 50 mg of ubrogepant compared with placebo. Treatment-emergent adverse events were similar in both ubrogepant groups.
